Ubisoft President Yves Guillemot stated that he would like to see Ubisoft’s full retail games available for download on the eShop. Along with downloadable retail games, Guillemot mentioned Ubisoft’s desire to see their Uplay service on the Wii U soon after launch. Ubisoft’s main plans for its Uplay service include achievement and gameplay tracking.

“We hope to have a good connection with their systems because Nintendo has been very open to us and allowed us to use our systems to communicate with our customers,” Guillemot said.

When asked about Ubisoft providing full retail games on the eShop, Guillemot stated “It’s a good system. As soon as it’s possible, we will do it. ”

Ubisoft is also talking to various stores about providing Ubisoft game download codes.
