DLC has just been confirmed for New Super Mario Bros. U. The details listed on the New Super Mario Bros. U game case contain information about Nintendo Network capabilities and features, and those details “explicitly” list downloadable content.

New Super Mario Bros. U will be the second game in the Mario series to feature DLC, with New Super Mario Bros. 2 for the Nintendo 3DS being the first ever in the series to have paid and released DLC.

New Super Mario Bros. U will launch alongside the Wii U on November 18, 2012.
