The Xbox 360 version of the game is wholly motion-controlled using the Kinect motion sensor control, and the lack of any other less active control scheme on that platform will leave some gamers in a quandary.
However, the Wii U version of the game won’t force you to “exert” yourself. Instead, the title will feature multiple control schemes, enabling you to get on your feet and into the fight, or more relaxed on the couch.
One of the detailed control schemes is the trendy Wii Remote and Nunchuk combo. By pressing buttons and acting out certain gestures, a player can control one of the Marvel characters in the fight. The other control method concerned the Wii U gamepad, in which the player controls a character using the gamepad’s touchscreen. Supposedly, every action that can be performed with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk can be performed using the gamepad.
Even with these new details, we still don’t know if these controls will work the same for single player, and whether or not motion controls will ever be necessary.
