Bethesda: Dishonored Won’t Be Coming to the Wii U in the Near Future

With the strong third party lineup announced for the Wii U, Nintendo gamers can hope for a wider selection of highly-acclaimed games to hit the Wii U console. Dishonored is no exception. The Bethesda Softworks title was highly-acclaimed at release, and many gamers enjoyed playing the game with HD quality graphics on the PS3 or the Xbox 360. But is it possible that we could see Dishonored on the Wii U?

The GamePad could be very useful asset to the game, perhaps as a weapon/ability selection control scheme, and the Wii U has better graphics than either the PS3 or the Xbox 360.

With these thoughts in mind, we asked Bethesda and Arkane Studios if they had any plans to bring Dishonored to the Wii U.

Bethesda Softworks:

“Nothing planned at this time.”

Admittedly, we were surprised and slightly disappointed by their response, but hopefully, we’ll see Bethesda Softworks support the Wii U with other game series the developer is known for in the future.
